Wordless Wednesday: Another Passing

Yesterday, my children’s grandmother passed away. I feel strange calling her my ex-MIL, even though that’s what she was. It makes me sad to think that my children won’t remember the special relationship they had with her. I hope to some day tell them stories about her and the things they did. It comforts me to know that she’s “up there” and hopefully she’ll run into my mother and tell her stories of the grandchildren she never got to meet. She can tell her how silly Bryleigh is or how strong and athletic the boys are. All the stories I would have told her if I could just pick up the phone and give her a ring. This song below is in her memory. May she rest peacefully, the battle is over.
